										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The title is deliberately provocative but I thought it might help in getting the ball rolling on this. </p>
<p>The new website is a distinct step forward from the previous one, but it highlights the fact that as a Group, we are &#8216;all at sea&#8217; in regards to our branding.  The site doesn&#8217;t have a logo or brand identity as such, simply a typographical &#8216;Heading/Title&#8217; following the styles and colours used throughout. </p>
<p>The previous website used a white-on-red 2D approximation of the classic logo created by Chris Manning (as featured on the 2021 Yearbook).  The white-on-red version is still used on our Twitter account (https://twitter.com/SGMWupdates) so we currently have three different identities – and that&#8217;s not good.  We usually produce some printed signage for our Karting event so I think we need to move pretty quickly on this.</p>
<p>At the very least, we need consistency.  </p>
<p>Is it time for a new identity?</p>
