Peter Nunn

Greetings. I am a freelance car writer and with a passion for cars, both classic and modern. Also love the ‘buzz’ of the industry (who’s up, what’s new, what’s next?). After spells with Classic & Sports Car and What Car?, I then moved to Japan where I spent 20+ years as a Tokyo-based correspondent (setting up the business myself), reporting on Japan and its fascinating car industry and car culture for a wide range of global magazines, including Autocar, CAR and Evo. Epic times…. Since returning to the UK, my byline has appeared variously in Autocar, Auto Italia, Drive.co.uk among other outlets. Today I am also Associate Editor for Car Graphic, Japan’s pre-eminent monthly motoring magazine, first published in Tokyo in 1962 so uniquely celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2022. Confess to a special affection for French and Italian cars. Long term Alfisti and owner of a 1972 2000 GTV Coupe. Also have a Japan-spec 1998 Mazda Roadster 1.8 RS plus recently added Alpine A110 berlinette.
